MOL’s capesize interrupted voyage to medevac ill crew

Capesize bulk carrier VEGA DREAM had to interrupt voyage from Brazil to Singapore to medevac an ill crew member. Vessel requested medical assistance and turned to Port Elizabeth, SAR. At 1000 LT Aug 21 sea rescue craft Eikos Rescuer IV of the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) took patient on board and transported him to sea rescue base, reported the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) in a press-release. Patent was taken to hospital, VEGA DREAM resumed voyage.
