FINNMARKEN crew caught in flagrante delicto

Officials of the HURTIGRUTEN Company, operator of ferry FINNMARKEN, on Aug 11 carried out sudden inspection of the ferry, having, according to an official statement, strong reason to believe, that some crew were drinking alcohol on board. Ferry is dry-docked at ship repair yard in Harstad, after suffering damage on Aug 5, see previous news. Well, inspectors found, that some crew did drink alcohol. No doubt, company was tipped off by someone among crew about pending crime. Crew caught with drinking were suspended from their duty. Crew, in theory, is one big family, where mutual trust is a must. So much for the trust, replaced with alcohol zero tolerance.
