Greek capesize ANANGEL COURAGE sunk Chinese fishing vessel off Senkaku islands

Greek capesize bulk carrier ANANGEL COURAGE collided with Chinese fishing vessel at around 0530 Tokyo time Aug 11 some 35 nm northwest of Diaoyu island, Senkaku Islands, Okinawa Prefecture, East China sea. Fishing vessel wasn’t spotted and believed to sink, six crew were found and rescued by Japanese Coast Guard ship. Search and Rescue continues, probably one or more fishing vessel’s crew remain missing. ANANGEL COURAGE is en route from Nantong China to Hedland Australia.
