​ SLAVYANKA’s lost crewmember body found, Brazil

An unidentified decomposed corpse of a man was found on Brazilian coast near San Paulo on Aug 10. Police believe it’s a corpse of a Bulgarian sailor from Bulgarian bulk carrier SLAVYANKA. Vessel reported man overboard on Aug 2, while en route to Paranagua Brazil. Vessel at the time of an accident was anchored on outer Paranagua anchorage, waiting for berth. Found corpse fits description of lost seaman, though it needs verification. On July 29 local fishing boat was lost in the area, several fishermen went missing and weren’t found.
