Black widow spiders found on board of ship which arrived from Russia, Italy

General cargo vessel docked at Ravenna port, Italy, in the morning July 30, with cargo of pipes, loaded in Russian port of Taganrog, Azov sea. When holds were open, hundreds of big-sized black spiders were found inside. Several spiders were sent to a laboratory to determine spiders type and whether they’re poisonous or not. According to earlier report from relevant authorities, a year ago in Taganrog area were found spiders which belong to a family of poisonous black widow spiders. According to AIS information, the vessel in question is general cargo vessel GALA TRIO.
