Fishing boat owners accuse bulker MADREDEUS in hit and run

Fishing boat owners filed a maritime protest with Philippine Coast Guard, accusing bulk carrier MADREDEUS in damaging their boat in the morning Apr 7. Boat was anchored neat Sampaloc Point, San Antonio municipality, Mindanao, South China sea, when passing vessel caught boat, anchor cable and dragged the boat. Outrigged boat was damaged, two of three crew fell overboard and nearly drowned. Vessel under the name MADREDEUS continued sailing in northern direction. Owners of the boat demand a compensation for damages. MADREDEUS according to AIS, was en route from Indonesia to Taiwan, vessel presently is anchored in Kaohsiung.
