General cargo vessel WAN MU CHUN 15 grounding

General cargo vessel WAN MU CHUN 15 reported grounding 1320 Beijin time Apr 6 in East China Sea in vicinity 26 25N 120 11E, northeast of Fuzhou. Vessel suffered breaches with ensuing water ingress into ballast tanks portside. Rescue ships and nearby vessels were directed in distressed freighter by MRCC Fuzhou, short time later 14 crew were transferred to one of the vessels deployed in rescue operation. It is understood, that WAN MU CHUN 15 was stabilized and proceeded to Luoyuan Bay, north of Fuzhou, under own power. According to AIS, at 1530 UTC vessel was already docked, or mooring, in Luoyuan Bay. Vessel reportedly is loaded with steel.
