SPAR LIBRA and EQUINOX DAWN stranded off Chittagong with rotten Russian wheat

Food Directorate of Bangladesh found two shipments of Russian wheat, totaling 9930 tons, unacceptable as being rot and unfit for food. Two bulk carries, SPAR LIBRA with 51000 tons of wheat, loaded in Novorossiysk, and EQUINOX DAWN with 48300 tons, loaded in Tuapse, are presently anchored south of Chittagong. Food Directorate issued an official refusal to accept the shipments on Apr 5.
