How to get a compensation Libya-style

Libyan company has prevented Maltese cargo ship MED PATRON from leaving Misurata port, Libya, in an attempt to get a compensation for 19 horses which died on board of the ship during voyage from Valetta to Misurata. There were 64 horses in two trucks, 19 died, Libyan company, owner of horses, demanded 100000 euro in compensation. Malta Today said, that Libyan company detained Master, crew and the ship, blocking MED PATRON with boats. According to AIS, however, vessel left Misurata late at night Mar 25, and is now on the way to Malta. Was there an agreement reached, or did the vessel manage to break through blockade, is unknown.
