Mt MADONNA 1 attacked, 4 crew hijacked

IMB reported tanker attack and 4 crew hijack in Nigerian waters:
05.03.2016: 0900 LT: Posn: 04:05N – 006:41E, Around 32nm SW of Bonny Island, Nigeria.
Ten armed pirates in a black speed boat approached and opened fire at a chemical tanker underway. They boarded the tanker using a grappling hook and ladder. Alarm raised and non-essential crew members retreated to the citadel. After an hour, the pirates left the tanker with four kidnapped crew. The remaining crew members sailed the tanker to a safe port.

As usual, IMB omitted insignificant details like name of the vessel, or nationalities of the hijacked seamen. Trade Winds, for subscribers only, reported name of tanker, it’s product tanker MADONNA 1, which was en route from Harcourt to Lagos. Vessel reached Lagos after attack, at 1400 UTC Mar 11 was in the same position. No other information available at the moment.
