3 tons of cocaine in reefer containers with frozen fish found on boxship SAN ADRIANO

Mexican police seized two reefer containers on board of container ship SAN ADRIANO in Progreso port, Yucatan Container Terminal, during vessel’s stay in port on Feb 06-12. Police is still checking containers loaded with 24 tons of fish each, as of Feb 24 750 kilos of cocaine were found in boxes with frozen fish, police believe that more than 3 tons of cocaine were hidden in containers. Cocaine was stashed in fish and also in ice packing each fish, see photo. Vessel was late with departure from Progresso, understood because of this incident.
