General cargo vessel YUSHO ANGEL II allided with berth, Taiwan

General cargo vessel YUSHO ANGEL II allided with berth in Taichung port, Taiwan, at around 1850 LT Feb 23, while berthing, reportedly due to steering failure. Vessel suffered portside bow damages, including hole 8x15 centimeters. Berth and fenders suffered damages, too. Vessel was berthing with the help of a tug, investigation under way to assess damages and appoint responsible for compensating losses.
