DUMUN arrested for illegal anchoring, after collision with CASTLE

Bulk carrier DUMUN was arrested by Malaysian maritime police MMEA on Jan 30 3 nm southwest of Tanjung Piai, Malaysia, Singapore Strait, west of Singapore, for illegal anchoring. Vessel didn’t apply for entering Malaysian waters and anchorage. As it came out during the inspection, on Jan 22 DUMUN collided with bulk carrier CASTLE on Singapore road, and was damaged in the collision. Three crew of DUMUN were arrested, all 21 crew are of Chinese nationality. As of 1600 UTC Jan 31, CASTLE was still at anchor on Singapore road.
