HUA XIN 858 fire, Bohai sea

General cargo vessel HUA XIN 858 issued distress signal in the afternoon Jan 17, reporting fire in the superstructure going out of control, off Yingkou port, Bohai sea, China. Fire spread around, reportedly from engine room. Several CG salvage ships took part in fighting fire, crew was evacuated. Firefighting went on throughout all night, fire was extinguished, damages understood to be severe. On a photo HUA XIN 858 after fire was extinguished.
