Shipment of Brazil corn found to be illegal, Indonesia

Bulk carrier LIMAS arrived to Semarang, north coast of Java, Indonesia, with cargo of corn from Brazil. 17 thousand tons were found to be illegal, and will be used an animal feed. Cargo papers lack a letter of approval or recommendation from Ministry of Agriculture, so the whole shipment was considered as forged. Police will investigate into the matter to find out, who’s guilty, importer or exporter or both. Vessel left Semarang on Jan 14.
