Russian Navy buying Turkish freighters for Syrian Express military cargo line

Turkish edition Zaman (zaman.com.tr) reported on Oct 16, that Russian Navy a few weeks ago bought Turkish general cargo vessel Alican Deval, to carry military equipment from Russia to Syria. Last AIS signal dated Oct 11, Novorossiysk port, Russia, Black Sea, status “waiting for order”. According to Russian news agency Lenta.ru, vessel is renamed to Dvinitsa-50 and is already on the way to Syria, passing Bosphorus on Oct 14. Russian Navy is forming so-called “Syrian Express” cargo line, to deliver military cargoes to Syria.
