French fv Dolomieu rescued 29 crew of fv Long Yeild No.2, Indian ocean

Tuna fishing vessel Dolomieu on Oct 15 received distress message from Seychelles authorities, asking to assist burning Seychelles flagged fishing vessel Long Yeild No.2. Dolomieu steamed to assist, Long Yeild No.2 was in position some 280 nm southwest of Mahe Island, Seychelles, Indian ocean. Long Yeild No.2 burned out, as can be seen on the photo. 29 crew, Indonesians and Taiwanese nationalities, were evacuated to Dolomieu. Dolomieu proceeded to Mahe island to disembark rescued crew. Long Yield No.2 obviously remained afloat and drifting.
