Euroferry Egnazia ramp crashed down

Faulty vehicles and passenger ramp disrupted the schedule of Grimaldi’s ferry Euroferry Egnazia, docked in Igoumenitsa, Greece. In the morning Oct 11 hydraulic system failed or malfunctioned, and ramp according to news, crashed down. Nobody was injured, but ramp is inoperable and not watertight when raised. Vessel is detained until ramp is repaired. Passengers who arrived to Igoumenitsa went ashore after a ladder was rigged, 301 passengers bound for Patras stayed on board.
