Car carrier Hoegh Transporter raided in search of arms and drugs

Kenya’s security services raided car carrier Hoegh Transporter in Mombasa port on Sep 18, sealing off all of the port. Authorities are looking for arms and drugs, in an attempt to prevent drugs trafficking to Africa and Europe. According to Hoegh Autoliners statement, crew and company are fully cooperationg with the authorities. Port was paralyzed for several hours. Vessel arrived to Mombasa from Mumbai India. The result of the raid yet unknown, at 0400 UTC Sep 19 vessel was in the same position, docked in port.
