Container ship Nordic Hong Kong grounding

Container ship Nordic Hong Kong ran aground at around 0655 LT Aug 30 while leaving the port, in ship canal of Port Qasim, Pakistan, near buoy 9. Vessel was aground until 1145, when she was refloated, reportedly with the help of tug or tugs. It said initially, that the grounding was caused by engine failure, but later officials said, that canal’s depths were faulted by silting. According to AIS, vessel left Port Qasim same day.
