16 armoured vehicles, including Typhoon GSS-300 type, were found by Greek Customs on board of ro-ro Tychy on July 21, on arrival to Greek port Keratsini, near Piraeus. Cargo was bound for Libya, in violation of special UN Decision, which is prohibiting military and paramilitary supplies to this country. Tychy arrived to Keratsini from La Spezia, but vehicles could be loaded in previous port of Deringe, Turkey. That’s the story told by Greek news edition http://www.rizospastis.gr/story.do?id=8529225
But according to most AIS websites, on July 21 vessel was docked in Misurata Libya. According to some other, vessel is in waters of Western Africa. All data correlate to data given by Greek news agency, except the location of the vessel.
Greek news agency added, that this is not the first time the vessel was spotted in carrying arms, believed to be illegal. One more known case of carrying arms took place in Feb this year.
