Freighter Chaves nearly sank at berth, Hamburg
The onlooker, understood to be an employee of Blohm and Foss, in the morning July 17 spotted in Hamburg port moored coaster Chaves, with apparent bow tilt and starboard list, write Bild. He called the police, which on arrival couldn’t for some time board the vessel, because crew was resting. Vessel was secured with extra mooring lines and is to be taken to repair facilities.
