Ferry disabled in Sunda Strait, passengers evacuated, Indonesia - Update

July 14: Ferry Mutiara Persada III after engine failure drifted to a small island Pulau Tempurung in Sunda Strait, and ran aground. As of 0500 UTC July 14 vessel was still aground. There were 142 passengers on board, including trucks drivers, all were transferred to Merak port, northwest Java.
Ro-ro passenger ferry Mutiara Persada III suffered engine failure early in the morning July 13 in Sunda Strait while en route from Surabaya East Java to Lampung southern Sumatra, with 81 passengers on board. Vessel started to drift. Passengers were evacuated by boats, no injures reported. According to AIS, as of 1400 UTC July 13 vessel was still adrift in Sunda Strait.
