Offshore icebreaker Fennica got a crack, cancelled voyage

Offshore service icebreaker Fennica returned to Dutch Harbor, Alaska, after a leak in ballast tank was found at a time the ship was leaving Dutch Harbor with a key piece of equipment for Arctic drilling, planned by Royal Dutch Shell off the northern coast of Alaska. Shell made a statement on July 7, and according to AIS, accident took place earlier, on July 3. A meter-long crack was found, cause of its origin unknown.
