Freighter Falkvaag doesn’t have migrants on board

French Navy intercepted general cargo vessel Falkvaag, which was suspected in human trafficking, on July 1 in international waters east of Sardinia, and inspected the vessel. No migrants were found, vessel continued her voyage. Falkvaag with 5 Ukrainian crew is en route to Marseille with a cargo of scrap, she was spotted in Libyan waters, and that fact, aggravated by vessel’s age, flag and owner, raised the suspicions of a probable human trafficking.
