Freighter damaged in grounding, Denmark

Maritime Danmark reported general cargo vessel Barbarossa ran aground on June 20 in Randers Fjord near Uggelhuse, Denmark, Kattegat, north of Aarhus. Vessel was in load, en route to Bilbao. Divers survey found a three-meter crack starboard, water ingress in ballast tank. Vessel was refloated and allowed to sail to Grenaa for repairs under own power. Barbarossa docked in Grenaa in the afternoon June 22.
