Freighter with 300 tons of explosives sank near Banjarmasin, Kalimantan

Cargo ship of a landing craft type, LCT Alur Barito, sank in the morning June 20 on Barito river, South Kalimantan, in Banjarmasin area. Vessel was loaded with 300 tons of explosives, including aluminum nitrate, 2.1 tons of dynamite and 7780 detonators. Explosives were destined for a mining company. No casualties reported, but locals are getting worried, fearing explosions. Vessel said to sank after running aground, there are talks that she was overloaded. No data on vessel found.
