Korean tall ship Koreana aground and holed, 38 people rescued

Korean tall ship Koreana ran aground in the morning June 14 off Yeosu, some 500 meters off the coastline, with 34 passengers and 4 crew on board. The ship suffered breaches and reported danger of sinking. Korean Coast Guard was in charge of rescue operation, all people rescued, no injures reported. The ship is to be refloated, according to Coast Guard accident statement. On a photo grounded Koreana.
