One more tourist boat distressed off Pattaya

One more tourist boat was caught in an accident in Pattaya waters, Thailand, Gulf of Siam. Fire erupted in engine room of boat Lung Orawan 2 with 102 Chinese tourists on board at around 1330 LT June 01, en route from Pattaya to Larn Island. Some 10 boats, including Royal Navy and Sea Rescue, steamed to the distressed boat and rescued all tourists, no injures reported. Crew remained on board and brought fire under control. Boat was towed or made it under own power, and later was detained for a full survey, both of vessel and of company which is operating the boat.
