Ferry with a hundred of passengers on board spent the night aground, 1 passenger died

Ferry KM Mutiara Persada I with some 100 passengers on board after a blackout ran aground one mile of Port Bakauheni, Lampung, South Sumatra, Indonesia, Sunda Strait, late at night May 17, shortly after leaving Bakauheni, en route to Merak, West Java. Port authorities were notified about grounding at around 0635 LT May 18, vessel spent the night aground, one passenger died from a heart attack. Tug was sent, ferry was refloated and towed back to port. On a photo KM Mutiara Persada I under tow to port.
