Tanker hijacked, northern Kalimantan

Product tanker Oriental Glory was hijacked by some 30 pirates at around 0600 LT May 15 off Labuan, northern Kalimantan, Malaysia. Pirates attacked tanker from 6 boats, reported ReCAAP. Vessel was taken in eastern direction and robbed of her cargo, 2,500 tons of oil. Pirates left the vessel after stealing cargo, crew safe, tanker sailed to nearest Malaysian port Tanjung Manis.
