Norwegian tanker fired upon by Iran forces in Persian Gulf

CNN reported, citing s US official, that on May 14 tanker Alpine Eternity, while under way in Persian Gulf, was fired upon by 5 Iranian boats believed to belong to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy. Fires were shot across vessel’s bow, presumably in an attempt to stop tanker. Vessel changed course and sailed into UAE waters. Tanker was ballasting from Manamah, Bahrain. No reports on damages or injures. At 1400 UTC May 14 tanker was on Dubai road.
