Freighter aground, Nagoya

General cargo vessel Marine Diamond in the afternoon May 13 ran aground in Nagoya Port, Japan, some 200 meters off quay 98 where she was docked, vessel was to leave port after offloading cargo of timber. It is understood, that the vessel is to be refloated with high tide and assistance of the tug in the morning May 14. No damages, no leak reported. Vessel was to sail to Yokkaichi.
