Container ship ANL Warringa engine failure

Container ship ANL Warringa suffered engine failure on Mar 28 at around noon 20 miles off Essex coast in North sea, drifting in area of major traffic. Two Essex lifeboats were dispatched to troubled boxship, which meanwhile, dropped an anchor. It was reported vessel was to be towed by a commercial tug to port. According to AIS, ANL Warringa started moving late at night Mar 28 or around midnight, in eastern direction. According to one of the AIS sites, vessel started to move under own power. At 0400 UTC Mar 29 vessel was some 40 nm west of Rotterdam proceeding east at a speed of 1.5 knots. Vessel is en route from Tilbury to Hamburg.
