Turkish freighter Kanton arrested in Ukraine for visiting Crimea, may be confiscated

The news were first published in Weekly Shipping Risks Report Week 12 dated March 22, now the news hit major media, Ukrainian and international. In case somebody missed it:
General cargo vessel Kanton may be confiscated by the Ukraine for illegal calls to Crimean ports
General cargo vessel Kanton was detained in Kherson, Ukraine, on Mar 4, after PSC inspection found a number of deficiencies. Later Kanton was arrested, all the ship’s documents were taken out by Ukraine Military Procurator. Vessel is accused in numerous violations of sanctions imposed on Crimea ports. Vessel violated sanctions by several calls to Crimea ports without notification or approval from Ukraine authorities. Vessel is subject to heavy fine or confiscation, according to Ukraine law with regards to annexed by Russia Crimea Peninsula.
