Freighter Martha Quinn with 2 tons of hashish intercepted off Damietta
Egyptian Navy reported on Mar 17, that they intercepted and detained general cargo vessel Martha Quinn off Damietta, Egypt, Mediterranean. Navy had to fire warning shots, because vessel tried to flee when ordered to stop for the inspection. Vessel was intercepted on a tip, 68 pallets with 2 tons of hashish were found. 8 Syrian crew arrested. No data found on Martha Quinn, which is flying Samoa flag.
