Largest cruise ship yet for Alaska

History will be made in 2016 when Royal Caribbean International’s 142,000grt Explorer of the Seas becomes the largest cruise vessel yet to operate in Alaska. The vessel will operate seven night round-trip cruises from Seattle.This is the first time a Voyager-class vessel has sailed in Alaskan waters. Currently the largest vessels to operate in Alaska have come from Princess Cruises.
