Passenger ship Scorpios II aground, Chile

Passenger ship Scorpios II with 89 tourists and 31 crew on board ran aground 8 nm southwest of Puerto Montt area, Chile, south of Santiago, at around 0600 LT Feb 5. Vessel was on a sightseeing trip around the fjords and San Rafael Glacier. No injures, no spill reported. Passengers evacuated, vessel is expected to be refloated with high tide.
