Workboat Wan Shenzhou 67 or JMS Delta sank on Yangtze river, 22 missing

A workboat capsized and sank on Yangtze river off Taizhou city, Jiangsu Province, on Jan 16, with 25 people on board. 3 were rescued, 22 went missing. There’s a confusion over the vessel’s identification. Chinese media reported the sunk vessel as a tug Wan Shenzhou 67, while foreign media identified her as JMS Delta. Most probably, it’s a 368-gt JMS Delta (IMO 9752462), recently built and undergoing sea-trials. Besides Chinese crew, on board were Singaporean, Japanese, Indonesian and Indian nationalities.
