Russia tried to steal Ukrainian tanker TAMANSKIY

Ukraine is trying to retrieve stolen by Russia tanker TAMANSKIY, docked in Yalova port, Turkey, since November. Tanker is owned by a State Enterprise Kerch Fishing Port, which was re-registered in Kiev after Crimea annexation by Russia. Russia worked out a fraud scheme of disposing ships which belonged to Ukraine long time ago, in 90-th, after Soviet Union fall. A fictitious suit is filed, vessel is arrested for debts, to be later given to charter party to compensate debt, though in case of mt TAMANSKIY, charter party (CowenManagmant SA, Bahamas, factual owner Russian Federation) is the party responsible for repairs. Ukraine is filing a lawsuit to get the tanker back, vessel is to be manned with Ukrainian crew.
