SCHELDEGRACHT aground in Langelands Belt

General cargo vessel SCHELDEGRACHT ran aground with 17000 tons of paper on board at around 2200 LT Dec 20 in Langelands Belt, Denmark, while en route from Rauma Fin to Skagen Den. Vessel stuck fast in the middle of the strait, off channel, west of Nakskov, Lolland island, Denmark. As of 0400 UTC Dec 21 SCHELDEGRACHT was still aground. Navigational error believed to be the cause of the grounding. No leak reported.
