Container ship SAMSKIP EXPRESS troubled in English Canal

Container ship SAMSKIP EXPRESS suffered engine failure in the afternoon Dec 18, some three miles south of Porthleven, southern tip of UK, and had to emergency anchor, while en route from Rotterdam to Dublin. Anchor dragged, vessel asked for help in rough weather conditions. A RNLI life boat and Dutch tug MTS VISCOUNT (IMO 7610012) assisted the vessel, trying to take situation under control. As of 0600 UTC Dec 20, SAMSKIP EXPRESS was moving in southwest direction, at some 5 knots speed, apparently under own power, escorted by tugs MTS VISCOUNT (IMO 7610012) and CANNIS (IMO 8102141).
