General cargo vessel Andrey Osipov blackout

General cargo vessel Andrey Osipov reported blackout in the evening Dec 10 off Tjorn, north of Gothenburg, Sweden, in a stormy weather. Vessel started to drift towards the shore, and had to drop an anchor to stop drifting. It is understood, that Norwegian company BUKSER OG BERGING AS was contracted. Two tugs were engaged in salvage – one kept the vessel from drifting towards shore, another one later took Andrey Osipov on tow and towed her to Skagen, west of Gothenburg, where she was anchored in safe waters at around 2200 UTC Dec 11. At 0300 UTC Dec 12 vessel was in the same position anchored off Skagen. Vessel was en route from Baltiysk to Alexandria. On a photo from Swedish CG troubled Andrey Osipov.
