General cargo vessel Lime in double distress
General cargo vessel Lime ran aground on Dnieper river above Zaporozhye on Nov 14 with pilot on board, en route to Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. Vessel suffered a hole with ensuing water ingress, which was kept under control by vessel’s pumps. According to available data, vessel managed to reach Dnepropetrovsk later on November, and presently is docked or anchored in Dnepropetrovsk. Reportedly there’s a labour dispute between crew and owner, over salary debts and vessel’s supplies, which were said to be running out.
