Taiwanese fishing vessel sank after the fire, Indian ocean

An unnamed Taiwanese fishing vessel sank after the fire in position 23 57S 107 14E, Indian ocean, 500 nm NW of Geraldton, Australia, in the morning Oct 1. Australian AMSA was coordinating rescue operation. Dornier rescue plane dropped a life raft, 15 crew went to life raft and were picked up by another fishing vessel, probably also Taiwanese. On AMSA photo sinking vessel and fishermen pleading for help.
