Iranian Navy rescued Chinese boxship from pirates. Really?

Container ship Xin Lian Yun Gang was rescued by Iran's naval forces from an attack by pirates in the Gulf of Aden on Sep 15, reported local media.
Five boats, each containing five armed pirates, attacked the Chinese ship in an attempt to hijack the vessel early Sep 15, but the Iranian Navy's 31st fleet of war vessels foiled the move, said the Iranian Navy in a statement.

This sea battle seems highly improbable. I don’t trust anything (at least, maritime related) Iranian media and Navy say just because in my previous experience the news they exploded with came up later as an absolute lie, pure fantasy, game of their vivid imagination. Now, what about this one? There are no Somalia-piracy related accidents for months, soon to be years, except Iranian Navy. There are regular news published by Iranian media which report attacked Iranian vessels and thwarted by Iranian Navy pirates. In this latest case, the vessel is Chinese, but that makes it all the more suspicious, because to my knowledge, Iranian Navy rescue either Iranian, or Chinese vessels, never vessels of any other nationality. No outside proof – no accident, no piracy attack. That’s the only way to deal with Iranian victorious news. Wonder why industry media take Iranian news seriously.
