Laker John B Aird still aground

Sep 14 night laker John B Aird was still aground, reported Great Lakes and Seaway Shipping. Divers were working in the ship throughout Sep 14, underwater welding reported, meaning that vessel’s hull probably, was breached. Still, last AIS in several AIS websites all dated Sep 13, though there’s AIS of the tug engaged in salvage. Maybe AIS is off.
Grounding news:
Laker John B Aird
Laker John B Aird ran aground at around 0130 LT Sep 13 a mile below Morrisburg, Lake St. Lawrence, south of Montreal, near buoy 81. Vessel loaded with slag rested on the bottom amidships, starboard. Vessel’s bow was down, stern up. Reportedly she was hard aground, but by morning Sep 14 maybe refloated, because last AIS while aground was dated midday UTC Sep 13.
