Bulk carrier Ince Inebolu refloated

Bulk carrier Ince Inebolu was refloated in the morning Sep 11 and anchored on safe anchorage for inspection and investigation. No water ingress, no spill reported.

As of morning Sep 10 bulk carrier Ince Inebolu seems to be still aground, two tugs Megas Alexandros (IMO:7351070) and Aegis I (IMO 7392957) engaged in salvage.

Bulk carrier Ince Inebolu ran aground on southeastern tip of Astipalaia island, Greece, Aegean sea, north of Crete island, in the morning Sep 5. Reportedly vessel suffered a hole in forepeak area. Vessel was ballasting from Yemen to Novorossiysk, Russia. No spill reported. According to AIS, at 0430 UTC Sep 6 vessel was in the same position 36 34N 026 27E with tug Megas Alexandros (IMO:7351070) standing by. It is understood that inspection, probably underwater survey, is to be carried out before refloating attempts.
