Boxship Vento Di Tramontana lost 27 forty-foot containers when entering Casablanca port, Morocco, at around 2320 LT Sep 2, reportedly due to grounding. By Sep 6 six containers were salvaged, salvage is under way. Vessel presently is docked in Casablanca. Previous news:

An unknown boxship ran aground approaching Casablanca, Morocco, this week, and reportedly lost several containers, which were washed ashore and partially looted by jubilant locals. The name of the company operating the vessel is Arkas.
