Two crew from freighter Happy Dragon medevaced after explosion in English Channel
General cargo vessel Happy Dragon reported explosion on board on Sep 4 in English Channel, and required medical assistance to two crew injured by the explosion. They’ve been medevaced by UK Coast Guard at 1030 UTC 50 miles south of Portland, and taken to Dorchester County Hospital, both are Filipino. Vessel resumed voyage from Aberdeen to Trieste, in the morning Sep 5 she was sailing full speed in Celtic sea. Details of the accident unknown.
